Board Meeting of June 4th, 2009

Board Elections

Decided that Membership Meeting will be a short presentation at 9:45. New board members will be introduced and previous members will be given a special thank you dance. Public Relations Director will open with a speech. Retiring board members include:

Board members do not have to provide receipts to the Financial Director for purchases for less than $30.
Tasking and Voting can be done by email.
Info and president emails are now forwarding to the new board members.

Financial Director
Categories need to allow board members to see financial data divided into lessons, single special events, and other expenses.
Accounting Reports to show
- Net Worth : Assets - Liabilities (including outstanding instructor credits)
- Lesson Income: Expenses, Income, and profit broken down per month.
- Event Performance: Expenses, Income, and profit/loss
- Other Expenses per month
- Used budget by month per board member
Define initial budget for Jun09-jun10
President
Get with Amelia and make sure she has the authorization and training to utilize the website and other technical mediums for public relations.
Add address into Account data on the website. This will allow the financial director to mail out reimbursements and the membership director to mail out membership cards.
Membership Director
Get a list of members with expiration dates that the board can review. If emails are a data field within that, then we can email members reminding them to renew their membership.
Everyone
Submit budget requests. Make line items for things you want to spend money on with an estimate per month or year.
